Russia launched more than 500 drones and missiles across Ukraine overnight Sunday, striking multiple regions and killing at least three people. Six others, including a child, were injured in the central city of Smila, where residential buildings and a college were damaged. A Ukrainian F-16 pilot also died while responding to the assault. The strikes come as Ukraine announced its withdrawal from the Ottawa Convention banning land mines
