Danny Danon, Israel’s permanent representative to the United Nations, said Sunday during an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council that the world should “thank” the U.S. following its strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, adding that Iran had used nuclear negotiations as “camouflage” to enrich uranium and build missiles.
