Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand said Canada has no role in the RCMP's ongoing investigation into the assassination of Khalistan separatist leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar in 2023 in B.C., and India's role in it. She said the inquiry must continue despite India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi's invitation to the G7 summit.
