A Reuters report from earlier this week shows the U.S. Trade Office sent letters to all nations it does business with to get an offer or a proposal drafted that could help alleviate pressures caused by tariffs, which could include plans to purchase more American goods, both industrial and agricultural. It could also show a way to remove non-tariff barriers on the U.S. that could range from digital taxes to import quotas to supply management. Global’s Reggie Cecchini reports.
