Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney confirmed that tariffs were among the topics discussed during a meeting with a visiting bipartisan U.S. Senate delegation in Ottawa on Friday. Speaking outside West Block, Carney described the talks as very good, touching on both security and economic issues, including a brief aside about women’s hockey. The meeting comes ahead of next month’s G7 summit in Alberta and included several Canadian ministers and the Business Council of Canada.
