Violent crime in DTES dropped in first months of Task Force Barrage, police say

Vancouver police are providing crime stats after three months of Task Force Barrage which show a decline in some areas of crime. The $5-million, six-month initiative is now half-way through, but as Alissa Thibault reports, despite the force saying it’s been an early success, there is still lots of work left to do.
