Pope inauguration marks new era for Catholic church

It was a momentous occasion for the Catholic Church as the first-ever American Pope was officially inaugurated on Sunday. Canada’s Prime Minister Mark Carney, a practicing Catholic, attended the mass seated in the second row. His Vatican visit is seen as both spiritual and strategic.
