Two Calgarians are speaking out after they say both their vehicles were recently broken into in broad daylight while parked at a popular provincial park. One victim says the alleged thief spent hundreds from their bank account. Calgary Police say at least four vehicles have been broken into since the beginning of March. On May 8th the RCMP's southeast district major crime unit executed a residential search warrant in auburn bay in connection to the 2024 death of Matthew Monteith. Monteith was shot and killed in February of last year in Sicamous BC.
