After losing his own riding in Monday night’s federal election, New Democratic Party (NDP) leader Jagmeet Singh revealed he will be stepping down as the party’s leader. The NDP looked likely to lose its party status after leading in just eight seats nationwide. Singh served as the New Democratic Party’s head since 2017.
