Speaking to supporters in Saskatoon, Sask. on Friday, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre polled his audience on if they believed you could do a cross-prairie road trip “in a Tesla.” Building off that point, Poilievre told supporters that the Liberal tax credits on electric vehicles help funnel money, in his view, away from Canada and into the pockets of foreign automakers such as Tesla.
