Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre avoided answering directly when asked if he would fire the Governor of the Bank of Canada. During a news conference Friday, Global News’ Mackenzie Gray pressed him repeatedly on the question. Instead of responding, Poilievre criticized Liberal Leader Mark Carney and walked away without addressing Bank of Canada leadership.
