White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said Tuesday that President Donald Trump believes Harvard University “should apologize” to Jewish American students for what she called the “egregious antisemitism” that has occurred on its campus. Her comments came hours after the Trump administration said it would freeze $2.2 billion in grants and US$60 million in contracts to the university.
