Northumberland OPP say a pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle in Alderville First Nation on Friday night.
Police say around 8:40 p.m., a man was hit by a pickup truck which was travelling along County Road 45.
OPP say the 45-year-old man from Roseneath was transported to hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
County Road 45 was closed at County Roads 18 and 24 for several hours.
OPP say their investigation remains ongoing.
