Poilievre says Conservatives would ‘crack down’ on crime with ‘3 strikes you’re out law’
Description
April 9, 2025
Speaking in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre – if elected as the next prime minister in the upcoming federal election – vowed Wednesday to “carry out the biggest crack down on crime in Canadian history” with a new “three strikes, you’re out law.” Poilievre said anyone convicted of three serious offenses will serve a minimum of 10 years in prison, with no chance of bail or parole, and “will have to earn their release.”
