Liberals expand lead, with some voters still open to switching parties
Description
April 6, 2025
A new Ipsos poll for Global News suggests the Liberals under Mark Carney have gained a double-digit lead over the Conservatives, putting them in majority government territory if the election were held today. While just over half of respondents are certain of their vote, nearly 20% have changed their minds in the past month. The poll reveals that some Liberal supporters are considering voting Conservative or NDP, while Conservative voters show stronger loyalty, with minimal interest in switching. Amandalina Letterio reports.
