As the so-called U.S. “Liberation Day” begins and tariffs from the U.S. take effect, Bloc Québécois leader Yves-François Blanchet proposed Wednesday that Canada not only makes deals with Mexico and European countries, but that all counter-tariffs on the U.S. are “surgically chosen” in order to protect Canada’s “fragile” economy.
