Daycare reopens nearly two years after Tantallon wildfire

For nearly two years, Terri Kottwitz has dedicated herself to rebuilding what she lost in the 2023 wildfires that devastated parts of Tantallon and Hammonds Plains. Through perseverance, she not only restored her daycare but also helped maintain a sense of community. As Global’s Angela Capobianco reports, her efforts have paid off, culminating in today’s grand opening of the newly rebuilt ForestKids Early Learning Organization — marking the start of a new chapter.
