Conservative Party Leader Pierre Poilievre officially kicked off his campaign on Sunday, vowing to reverse nearly all of Trudeau’s policies, from the carbon price on industrial emitters to immigration and taxation. He also promised to shrink the public service. "Mr. Carney's carbon tax and Donald Trump's tariffs will destroy Canadian industry, pushing jobs south. But I won't let that happen," Poilievre said. He also promised declaring that “change and hope are both on the way” and called for collective action "restore Canada's promise."
