Better Business Bureau releases its annual Scam Index Report

The Better Business Bureau’s says crypto and investment-related scams remained the No. 1 scam type in 2024. Most cases involve a period of financial grooming, building relationships and rapport with victims before they strike. Also high on the list were romance or friendship scams.
