The 2025 Alberta government budget includes money for the demolition of the old Coliseum arena, as well as funding to further develop the Ice District area surrounding Rogers Place in central Edmonton. As Jaclyn Kucey explains, there are plans for an park to hold more events in outside the downtown arena.
