Scientists from the Department of Health and Human Services in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday protested proposed cuts to medical research funding and recent firings under President Donald Trump’s administration. On the same day, the U.S. congressional DOGE caucus held a press conference outside the U.S. Capitol building to defend the firings and budget cuts. The caucus revealed several new bills to save the government more money.
