Speaking in Montreal Tuesday, NDP leader Jagmeet Singh expressed reservations in Liberal leadership candidate Mark Carney – who debated with the other three candidates the night before. Singh called out an inability to connect with economic issues among the general public and a comment Carney mistakenly made about agreeing with Hamas militants. Whether he was confident in Carney’s French-language speaking abilities during the debate, Singh wasn’t sure he was at the “level” to suit a federal leader.
