The tolls are being removed at the Macdonald and MacKay bridges over Halifax Harbour. It was one of Premier Tim Houston’s first promises during the fall provincial election. Starting April 1, the tolls will be gone, and the province says the change will save drivers $39 million. Jake Webb has more.
