Opposition grows towards Quebec’s strategy on tariffs

Quebec Premier François Legault is calling for the rapid renegotiation of the Canada-US-Mexico trade agreement. He’s in Washington this week trying to convince U.S. officials to back down on their planned tariffs. But in Quebec City, the opposition is criticizing the premier’s approach.
