The “Donuts for Vienna” fundraiser kicked off 1 a.m. as bakers began to fill orders for a whopping 475 dozen doughnuts – that’s 5,700 individual sprinkled pastries featuring Vienna’s favourite colours.

300 orders alone were placed Monday when the event was announced. Monetary donations are also being accepted.

In late May 2023, Vienna was reported missing at a daycare in Baltimore and was found inside a septic tank on the property. She was rushed to hospital but was pronounced deceased.

OPP in December 2024 said in conjunction with the Crown, charges were not being laid due to a lack of a reasonable prospect of a conviction.

Owner/manager Cory Dooher estimated Friday morning that up to $9,000 would be raised to support the family’s hiring of a private investigator to pursue the case further.
