A Calgary mother has launched a unique initiative, designing stuffed animals to help children cope with trauma. Inspired by her efforts to support her young daughter through a challenging diagnosis and repeated hospital visits, she created sensory-specific support animals that provide cues for recovery to both children and their parents.
