Giant floating Christmas tree display collapses on Rio beach, killing 1

One person has died in Brazil after a 184-foot-tall floating Christmas tree display collapsed Monday on a beach in Rio de Janeiro during a storm. The death of the 21-year-old prompted government officials to declare two days of mourning in which the lighting of local Christmas trees would be suspended. Two others were left with non-life-threatening injuries.
