After Ontario Premier Doug Ford threatened to cut off millions of American residents living in border states from the province's energy exports as a retaliatory measure against U.S. president-elect Donald Trump’s pledge of 25 per cent tariffs on Canadian goods. Trump said on Thursday that it was “fine” if the threat was followed through on.
