Nearly seven million birds culled in B.C.’s Fraser Valley due to avian flu

In the Fraser Valley, the number of birds culled because of an outbreak of avian flu is approaching seven million this weekend. Beyond that staggering number is the impact being felt by the farmers whose flocks have been wiped out because of the epidemic. B.C. is the epicentre of the current outbreak, home to 52 affected farms out of 60 across Canada. Taya Fast reports.
