A conservation association in the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) says it was blindsided after the province released a plan to build a highway connector in the area they are trying to protect. According to the government, the highway will reduce traffic and improve safety by adding another access route. But some residents remain skeptical. Ella Macdonald reports.
