India “clearly on notice” after Canada expelled diplomats, Mélanie Joly says
Description
October 18, 2024
Canada's Minister of Foreign Affairs Mélanie Joly spoke at a news conference Friday morning in Montreal, taking questions on several topics including the recently-escalated diplomatic tensions between Canada and India. In Joly's view, Canada's decision to expel multiple diplomats showed that India was "clearly on notice," and that there was "definitely a threat" which is why the RCMP recently made allegations of Indian government activity in Canada. "We've never seen that in our history," Joly warned.
