An Air India flight from New Delhi to Chicago was diverted to the Iqaluit airport in Nunavut on Tuesday morning following a bomb threat, according to the RCMP. Since Iqaluit was not equipped to house that many unexpected guests, Defence Minister Bill Blair gave the green light to utilize military resources to help the waylaid travellers.
