The RCMP is accusing Indian government agents of criminal activity on Canadian soil targeting supporters of Khalistan, most notably the June 2023 killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Canada’s inflation rate fell to 1.6 per cent in September, after hitting the Bank of Canada’s two per cent target in August.
