Doctors say Edmonton’s hospitals are already being stretched to its limits, before cold and flu season really gets going. Some departments are currently overcapacity and surge beds are in the works. As Erik Bay tells us, health-care professionals are worried the situation will get much worse once more respiratory illnesses pop up.
