New York City Mayor Eric Adams appeared in court and pleaded “not guilty” on Friday, a day after being indicted on charges of bribery, conspiracy to commit fraud and solicitation of a contribution from a foreign national. Adams has vowed to stay on as mayor while he fights the charges.
