A Missouri man convicted of breaking into a woman’s home and repeatedly stabbing her was executed Tuesday evening, despite calls from the prosecutor and the victim’s family for his death sentence to be commuted to life in prison. Questions were raised by his attorneys prior to his death over jury selection at his trial and handling of evidence in the case.
