Multiple people were injured in Beirut’s suburbs and other parts of Lebanon after handheld and mobile pagers exploded on Tuesday. The explosion also resulted in slight injuries to Iran’s ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani. The American University Medical Centre in Beirut was flooded with injured individuals as ambulances rushed to the scene.
