Florida’s Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, the U.S. Secret Service and the FBI provided an update on Monday regarding the investigation into Sunday’s assassination attempt against former president Donald Trump. The FBI said that the suspect, Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, never had a line of sight on Trump and never discharged his firearm before or after he was met by gunshots from a Secret Service agent who noticed the rifle from the perimetre of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.
