Ottawa’s stolen Winston Churchill portrait recovered in Italy, charges laid

Two years after it was stolen from Ottawa’s Fairmont Château Laurier in 2022, a 1941 portrait of former British prime minister Winston Churchill by famed Canadian photographer Yousuf Karsh has been recovered in Italy.
