There is no shortage of candidates running for David Lametti's former seat in an upcoming Montreal byelection. A total of 91 candidates are registered on the ballot in the LaSalle-Émard-Verdun riding. It's an all-time national record and most of them don't stand a chance at winning the Liberal stronghold. But as Global's Tim Sargeant reports, many are running to make a point about the need to reform Canada's electoral laws.
