An 18-year-old man was killed in an exchange of gunfire with German police near the Israeli Consulate in Munich. Police said Thursday they believed he planned to attack the consulate on the anniversary of the 1972 Munich Olympics massacre. They added, however, that it was not yet clear whether the attack was linked to the anniversary.
