Edmonton councillor reveals his money plan to avoid more cuts or tax hikes

Traditionally, municipal governments have had two ways of improving their budgets: make service cuts or increase taxes/ But Edmonton city councillor Aaron Paquette is proposing a third option: creating a money plan that in part, takes advantage of an endowment fund creates decades ago when the Edmonton Telephones Corporation (Ed Tel) was sold to Telus.
