WATCH: Council approves the Downtown Event and Entertainment District (DEED) funding strategy this week. Administration will report to council as the funding strategy moves forward. Mayor Clark says the cost estimate of the proposed DEED project is $1.2 billion. The shelf-ready plan will be in the works while the city waits for possible funding commitments from government and other entities.
