Just a few years after mRNA vaccines proved their effectiveness against COVID-19, scientists are now looking at how they can be used to treat other serious diseases — including lung cancer. Researchers are beginning clinical trials using the technology to create a vaccine to treat non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC), the most common form of the disease.
