On day three of the dispute involving Canada’s two main railways, the federal labour board ordered striking rail workers back to work. Not everyone may have noticed the impacts of the strike in their day-to-day life yet, but the costs to the Canadian economy have been mounting. NASA says the two astronauts stuck in space will return on a SpaceX craft, rather than the Boeing Starliner that took them into space, because of a faulty propulsion system that is just too risky. Plus, Toronto police are searching for a man wanted in connection with the killings of two of his family members in Etobicoke, Ont. And finally, a melon species once thought to be extinct is having a resurgence in its namesake city: the Montreal melon.
