Taliban bans women’s voices, bare faces from public in new restrictive laws

In Afghanistan, the Taliban continues its crackdown on women’s rights with a long list of so-called “morality rules.” It’s now illegal for Afghan women to sing, recite or read aloud in public, with offenders facing punishments of losing property or spending three days in detention.
