In a joint press conference on Tuesday, Toronto Police Service (TPS) and Crime Stoppers officials announced that they will be joining forces on a new auto theft awareness campaign, as vehicle thefts and carjackings remain a concern among Torontonians. As incentive for people with knowledge of related crimes to call in with anonymous tips, Crime Stoppers offered a limited reward of up to $5,000.
