Nearly 450,000 Canadians have received care under the new Canadian Dental Care Plan, with more than 2.3 million approved to receive coverage, according to health minister Mark Holland. Roughly 75% of all dentists and dental specialists now accept patients with coverage under the plan following a change last month that allowed providers to participate on a claim-by-claim basis.
