Canadian Environment Minister Steven Guilbeault confirmed the fires that devastated Jasper National Park in Alberta over the course of a week have been extinguished on Monday. Additionally, the federal official confirmed there are plans for a staged re-entry into the townsite, following mass evacuations. No timeline was provided, however.
