Two people are dead and two others are injured after a “gun battle” style shooting at a Scarborough plaza early Wednesday, according to Toronto Police. Acting Duty Insp. Todd Jocko said two people died: a man at the scene and a woman at the hospital. Two other men were taken to hospital with serious injuries and expected to undergo surgery. “We understand that incidents like this where people are shot, people are killed, creates a significant concern for members of the community,” Jocko said.
